- Janet Mills Review added: 2018.05.25★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆Recently had to be a temporary patient but on reflection would not have chosen this one! Prior to my operation,a TKR,total knee replacement,i registered by filling in a form and having all my letters from my consultant photo copied i was told to get my son to activate my registration when the operation had been carried out,, easily done ,all the paperwork had been lost! I had an allergic reaction after the operation and had to have dressings changed regularly by the district nurse.I was told there would be NO home visits and would have to go into the surgery.On arrival the new paperwork had been lost again!! The practice nurse was extremely rude,accusatory and she wasnt in any uniform so looked like the lady next door! She constantly complained about my situation and the lack of dressings also saying i should have gone to my own surgery in Stapleford ,bearing in mind transport and an eligible person needed to be arranged.The nurse carried on being negative until she realised i was in extreme pain. A new appointment was made and yet again paperwork was still lost! How a surgery runs in such a chaotic way is beyond me!!!
